Dr. Claire Corkery BA, B.D.SC. TCD
Dr. Corkery studied at Trinity College Dublin, qualifying with honours in 1995. She spent three years in NHS practice in Kent before moving to private practice in West Sussex where she worked for five years. Dr. Corkery moved home and joined our Kilkenny practice in 2003 where she has remained since. Dr. Corkery is confident in all aspects of general dentistry and has a special interest in white restorations and cosmetic makeovers. When she is not at work she is extremely busy looking after her 4 sons!
Dr. Nessa Jones BA, B.Dent.Sc, TCD, Cert. Restorative Dent., UCL.
Dr. Jones studied in Trinity College Dublin, qualifying with Honours, in 2007. She then began a Vocational Training year in dentistry in Portlaoise, gaining valuable experience in both private practice and the HSE. She joined the team in Kilkenny in 2008 and has enjoyed working there to date, in all areas of general practice. Dr. Jones undertook a postgraduate course in the prestigious Eastman Hospital in University College, London in 2011. This enhanced her skills and experience in restorative and advanced restorative dentistry. She is a current member of the Irish Dental Association, and regularly attends dental conferences and courses, both in Ireland and abroad.
Dr. Monica Ryan BDS NUI
Dr. Ryan qualified from University College Cork in 2008 with an honours degree. In 2009, she completed Vocational Training with the PGMDB and has been working in private practice since then. Monica is an experienced general dentist and has a particular interest in Six Month Smiles. Monica is an avid hockey player with Clonmel and also breeds & trains track greyhounds.
Dr. Mike McCarthy BA, B.Dent.Sc, TCD, MBA
Dr. McCarthy studied in Trinity College Dublin, qualifying with Honours, in 2011 and has gained extensive experience in general practice in Australia and in Ireland since then. Between 2014 & 2016 Dr.McCarthy completed an MBA in Healthcare from George Washington University. Mike is an experienced, talented dentist who has a particular interest in oral surgery, endodontics and dental sedation.
